.CO Leads Sedo ccTLD Sales With eParking.co and .MX Makes A Move

This week Sedo’s ccTLD sales maxed-out with the $7,000 sale of eParking.co. While this is a low high-sale of the week, it’s a nice price for a brandable .CO domain like eParking. I am more surprised to see Meristation.mx sell for $6,000, a solid sale in the .MX space and another good sign that there are indeed real .MX buyers on Sedo.
Another nice .MX sale this week was Play.mx for $2,900 – this sale shows that there is a market out there for English .MX domains. When I first started investing I thought only Spanish words made sense. After seeing a few nice English .MX names sell I’ve now broadened my own investments to have a mix of Spanish and English. It’s sales like these that are encouraging, however it’s only $2,900 so still just peanuts when compared to a .DE, .EU, or .CO sale.
As usual .TV was in the top ten this time with bets.TV selling for $3,999 and fellow .IN fans will be interested to know that FindJobs.CO.IN sold for $1,000. In my opinion this is a disappointingly low sale, but for a .CO.In name I’m not surprised. The Indian domain space could be the sleeper of the century but right now low sales prices are making this a buyers market.

Hopefully some day .TV will be included in discussions of GTLD domain sales as well.
Domain sales at times are baffling – if someone offered me eParking.co for $25 I would not be interested…
@Leonard – I think .TV has a bright future ahead. I’m seeing new channels pop-up on my Roku all the time using .TV to brand. I thought .TV domains were a good investment two years ago and I think the same now!

Hi guys, yep domain name sale prices seem baffling at times.I have artyfarty.tv which i use for my craft bus, handstand.tv is up 4 sale. If eParking.co can command that price then my ceramics.co should be worth something up there ?
Many people visiting Mexico don’t speak Spanish so checking for accommodations, flights etc. using English words with the .mx extension works for them.
Nice option for Mexican companies trying to reach out to English visitors/customers.
