Cool Tools – How Google Export Can Help ccTLD Investors
Google has a LOT of tools – this we know, so many that in fact you’ve likely never heard of the Google Export Tool. The tool was released last year but still remains in beta – it’s release was never celebrated so to most of us – it never existed! So what is the Google Export Tool? It’s a tool designed to help businesses identify market opportunities in other countries – and of course an excellent tool for ccTLD investors!
As you can see – all you have to do is specify a Country and Language and then enter your keywords, then select what region you are targeting. By combining the features of several Google tools together, Google is able to provide you with some very useful information and information that ccTLD investors can definitely benefit from.
The next screen shows you some very cool information – it tell you where in the world your keywords have the best potential or opportunity. For the term “kayaking” it is telling me that there is a lot of potential in Brazil. If you want to view this data as a table you can, an example is shown below:
The “Opportunity Score” is most likely something you haven’t seen from Google before. The higher the number the great the opportunity Google thinks you have for those particular keywords in a given market. Couple this with a list of available domain names and you might be able to give yourself the extra data you need to find that winning name!
The Google Adword Keyword Tool is one of the most-used tools in the Domaining industry but Google Export, although not widely known, is an excellent tool for ccTLD investors to find some excellent market opportunities.
